Composition Today website

Posted on Friday 1 July 2005

The Composition Today site looks intriguing, with news of contemporary composers, composition competitions, and the most innovative of all, a “Sound Bank” where you can listen to certain instrumental sounds (e.g. a trumpet playing with a plunger mute).

In these days of limited art music coverage, it’s great to see the internet put to good use. It’s a pay site for full access, but the content looks worth it.
