A new work for oboe and piano, By Jingoes, has been published by Faber Music as part of their Unbeaten Tracks series.
This work is a small tango written in memory of my grandfather, Brian Hindson. “By jingoes” was one of his favourite expressions, and it seemed suitable to base this new piece upon that exclamation.
For some reason the Oboe version of Unbeaten Tracks cannot be found on the Faber Music website at the current time, but it should appear very soon.
